Michaela Simmonds was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of a paranoid war veteran father, and an industrious mother who worked as a nurse at Grady Memorial Hospital. Tragedy strikes and she is forced to leave her childhood behind and grow up before her prime. As she gets older, she uses the skills given to her as a child to survive, helping her greatly when the world spirals into an apocalyptic hell hole filled with cannibalistic creatures. That's when she meets Daryl Dixon. Question is, will she choose the childhood friend over her new family she has come to love?
