But, like a disease, the forces of hell learned to work their way around the angels' boundaries to penetrate the physical realm of Earth. Enter the Half-angels, angel-human-hybrids birthed from the Tree of Souls, simpler yet complex beings who pledge to fight the demonic forces that enter the realms to which they do not belong. Over hundreds of years, they grew as an army and became independent. Though they have the upper hand with their physical association, a new problem arises with the start of World War II... Awakening, light, darkness, air, these were the only things Samuel could vaguely recall as his only solid memories. Waking up from a four-thousand year, unrequited sleep in the year of 1940 was not what he had in mind. In fact, he didn't have a clue about who he was...or what he was. With the help of a mysterious man, Adriel Klein, Samuel escapes from the clutches of dark forces and learns of his identity as the son of the Archangel Gabriel, making him what is commonly referred to as a "half-angel." Taking up an offer from Klein, Samuel attends the school of half-angels "United Wings Academy" to train and fight against the demonic forces that sought to hold him captive. But he soon realizes that there is more to this world of phantasmic and divine powers than meets the eye...
