Off To A Great Start

Most people tend to wake up, have some coffee and breakfast and then go get some work done. But typically, when we wake up, it's suit up and drop in. Being an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper is no easy job, but hell it's my job. Me and my squad very rarely see action since the attack on New Mombasa. After that much of the company joined the Spartan program and moved to the front lines, but we decided that we didn't need those steroids and fancy toys. The only things we need are our guns, armor, and pods. But one day our ship, The Eccentric, began to make an unauthorized jump to the other side of no where and straight into the atmosphere of an unknown planet. So long story short this is not how I wanted to spend my weekend.
