The Shadows have taken over the planet, wiping out most of humanity. However, they missed a few people who were smart enough to outwit the Shadows and survive thus far. The Shadows still walk the earth, hunting down these survivors, sensing their presence, but not exactly sure where they're hiding.
Will these survivors be able to make it any longer with only the help they receive from each other? Or will they end up like everyone else; dead? Is this the end of all humanity?
