Description
When the marriage of two heirs joined the Lei Kingdom and Kiva Empire into what appeared to be a peaceful realm, no doubt a wise person would have said that the peace would only be momentary. The birth of Princess Veorica brought great joy at the same time that it brought great grief. Her birth came at the cost of the old Kiva Empire's only princess and the new Keiva Empire's queen. The previously bubbling unrest within the empire began to grow into something more dangerous, but the future heir to the Keiva Empire had the blood of both realms in her. That alone held the rebellions at bay. However, the life Veorica had known since birth was thrown aside when her father is murdered and the frame is thrown onto her. With no other options, she is forced to run away with her closest companions and the only people who believe her innocent. Yet as she begins on her life changing journey to clear her name and expose the true murderer, she meets a number of unlikely allies and discovers that the stories her father told her of the peace within the empire were nothing but fabricated lies to keep her safe inside the palace. When the time comes, will Veorica have what it takes to reveal the truth to everyone and reclaim her throne?
