Description
Lungs screaming for air, I knew I couldn't keep it up but refused to look behind me. Turning a sharp corner the lights completely blacked out and I toppled forward. I tried to scramble back up, but wasn't near fast enough. Cowering down, the haunting steps came to a halt. Just then lightning cracked across the sky just as I saw him looming inches above my face, eyes an electric blue from the chase. A slight dip in the couch beside me startled me breaking my trance from the TV. Turning my head to my left a scream left my lips. Sitting there in place of Eithen was the same guy looming threateningly over me in the TV screen. Slowing turning his head, Thomas's electric blue eyes met mine and his wolfish smile sent a chill down my spine. "Lacey darling, you should know you can't escape me." Lacey has finally escaped her nightmare with Eithen's help. Utterly lost and afraid, trying to pick up the peices and put herself back together again, can she learn to take her walls down and trust again?
