♥♡ Chapter one - The Dream, the voice ♡♥

“Put your hand against the barrier” The soft velvety voice spoke in my mind.
Why? What’s on the other side? I whispered, hoping he would’ve sensed my fear.
“Just put your hand out!” The voice shouted this time with desperation laced in between his words.

The seconds ticked as I felt a bead of sweat trickle down my face.

What I didn’t know, was that the next decision I made put the entire world at risk. Or should I say put both worlds in extreme jeopardy.

Would it be worth finding out?
Would it be worth leaving my family behind?
What was across the divide?

There was only one way to find out, and no return.
