Ellie Hastings, your average 17 year old girl. Scratch that- your unusual 17 year old girl. She lives with her mom and an abusive boyfriend that her mom got. Ellie gets burned with cigarettes and always gets hit. Ryan is this abusive, alcoholic, drug addict. Ellie's dad died 4 years ago and her older brother left right after it happened.
