ichigo kurasaki is a teenager thats has the ability to see ghosts and can become hollow a type of ghost that doesnt have a heart although ichigo uses that ability to help his friends when they are in danger he is also a substitute soul reaper the job of a soul reaper is to send freindly ghosts to the soul society and exercise a hollow ichigo has stop turning to a hollow because his friends could easily be harmed however the hollowfied people have to go to a place where they meet the commander of this type of hollow and each hollowfied person has to attend a test to see which hollow is allowed to live or become a fully hollow by getting devoured by a real hollow will ichigo get out alive and see the world again or will he become lunch for the hollows
