Description
An isolated village in the harsh Arctic tundra is menaced by monstrous creatures of blue ice. Those who protect the village are marked permanently by the blood of the ice beasts they spill upon their skin. As the blood stains build on each warrior's skin, the likelihood of an undefeatable and mysterious opponent in a cloak appearing and taking the warrior's life rises. The cloaked one kills only those covered in ice beast blood and disappears virtually unscathed into the wilderness after each kill. Kaluanjuc watched his father die at the hands of the enigmatic murderer in his youth and can't bear the thought of his brother's eventual fate. He has decided that he will follow the strange killer south when next he appears in an effort to find some solution to the bloodshed, or in the absence of a solution, a chance to strike from the shadows.
