This isn't war. This isn't a battle amongst enemies. This is survival.
Five tribes. Five species.
On the island of Animaka lives the Elkor, the Monkery, the Birkador, the Fisherae, and the Cheeths. This isn't Darwin's principle being applied, this is his principle being lived: survival of the fittest. However, when it comes to natural selection it seems the Cheeths have a leg up.
Aira is a Birkador and after losing so much already in life, she didn't imagine she would even be on the radar of the Cheeth's tribe leader and most feared animal on Animaka, let alone come face to face with him.
With friends at stake and a tribe that doesn't seem to care, Aira attempts to do the one thing everyone is vying to do. Aira attempts to survive.
