Chapter 1

Caroline Boyer was never that popular to begin with. She was just trying to live through life. She finds a job at Capitol Records in Nashville, Tennessee. The man she had always loved to hate works there as a song writer. He has gotten way more annoying than he ever was before.

Caroline starts to wonder if she ever really did hate him or if it was just her being a lovesick puppy. As this man starts to grow closer, as she starts to fall in love, she keeps reminding herself, "I never liked you anyway."

Will she crack and let this man sweep her off her feet, or will she hide in the closet, pretending that her heart doesn't beat for him.
