Prologue

My mother disappeared when I was merely five years old and I was alone. I cried everyday until I wandered into the forest and met my best friend, Princess Hisui E. Fiore. Her and I were the same age and we bonded. Fourteen years later, we are still best friends, but we rarely talk. I'm part of a guild while she's living in Crocus. The guild I'm in, let's just say that we are super competitive and I'm on my way home from a hundred year job. I ran into this gigantic dragon who was mean and nasty, he was nothing like Terriuma (my mother). I fought valiantly and gave him everything I got, but he spoke to me.
