The Night They Came

Emmy sits on he porch every night after the sun sets. She gazes at the beautiful constellations and watches shooting stars soar across the night sky. One night Emmy sits on her quilt out in the grass, suddenly a cool breeze chills her bones. All of the stars disappear, except for one lone shine, that was brighter than a star Emmy had ever seen before.
