Brooklyn Tierney never grew up leading a normal life. Her entire life has always revolved around the world of equines. Her dad competed in the Olympics only to have his career come to a halt after a terrible riding accident. From the beginning Brooke was always in love with horses, whether it was riding them, taking care of them, anything. But after a tragic riding accident takes her mom's life, Brooke has to reconsider everything she thought she wanted in life and after a hard year of depression, anxiety and pain she finally returns to the world she once couldn't leave. She starts devoting all her time to the horses. Not the perfect, double clear, Grand Prix horses but the hurt, scared, abused and scarred ones whose eyes were filled with pain and hurt. At nineteen Brooke finds herself out of school, training horses alongside her dad and her two best friends, Olivia and Ainsley. But when her dad invites a family to stay at the farm and train with them what will happen when one of them becomes more than just a training partner to Brooke? What will happen when they go home and that leaves Brooke again reevaluating what she wants? And what happens when they meet again but this it's on his turf?
