Before I came along

I walk into the house unaware of what was going on. It was 12 o'clock at night and i had just gotten home from work. I headed upstairs until I got this strange feeling that something wasn't right. "Mom? Dad?" I call out but no answer was heard. I shrugged it off and walked to the kitchen. What I saw was like being in a horror movie. My parents were sitting in the chairs with wires wrapped around their necks. Then I heard it. A maniacal laugh and then came along a scream. "Someone help me!" My 8 year old sister screamed. "Emily!! I'm coming!" I screamed as I ran up the stairs.
