Prologue

The world was supposed to end in 2012 by a natural disaster? No... The world "ends" in the year 2020, after a massive terrorist attack destroys multiple major cities in the United States, it is left as an empty wasteland. full of stragglers, and empty military camps that once tried to contain civilization... Lance Marshal, a fifteen year old boy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania , is one of those stragglers. When he and his crippled friend meet an ex-military operative that was once part of an elite spec ops team that used mechs to fend off the terrorist threat...but will the three of them be able to find safety in a world that is no more?
