Dear Jacob,
i can remember so many nights alone thinking about where in the world you were and who in the world you loved. i would think about every person who was lucky enough to encounter you and what words you had shared and what things you had seen. i never imagined, laying there, thinking about how you spent your day that soon i would be there for so many of them. i never imagined that one day i would be where you were in the world and be one in the world you loved. and i am so happy every moment that passes by in which we are together. you were my best friend thousands of miles away in the past and you are my best friend now right next to me each morning.
