Clare and Alan grow up together and have lots of fun, until Alan emigrates to Canada for a time. At the age of 28, Clare marries and begins to work in an Accountant's office as his secretary. When Alan's marriage breaks down and Clare's situation changes, Alan falls in love with her. As his love grows and grows, more and more people find out about his feelings for her, but what will she say when she finds out?
