"Phil, we've got a case," Dan said. Phil asked, "What kind?" "Kidnapping. Thirteen young girls kidnapped, tortured, and dumped," Dan muttered. Phil opened his mouth, speaking in a hardened tone, "Well, let's go-" "Partner," Dan smirked. Phil prefers to work alone, yet tolerates his partner's, Dan's, assistance on cases. Phil is quite socially inept. The reason? He's mildly sociopathic.. In fact, he relies on Dan entirely. The two are well-experienced. They work well together and have solved hundreds of cases, with few remaining unsolved. But when a case goes wrong and Dan falls into danger, can Phil save him?
