Elijah Samson is a 16 year old teenager who has a secret. When he was born, he was injected with a serum that gave him superpowers, but it came with a cost. He lost his parents in an explosion that the scientist that injected him started, killing himself in the process. His brother, Anthony, and his sister, Margaret, were put into comas because of the explosion. Two years after the explosion, Elijah is in his junior year living the life as a football wide receiver, until a mysterious hooded figure threatens his city.
