Penny and Ben Westwood are two of hundreds of witnesses to the landing of a new civilization. Penny and Ben wish to make peace, but the government takes the humanoid beings away, claiming that they are dangerous.
When the two of them are shipped away to Military school, they have plenty of time away from their parents to spend plotting ways to help the beings from another planet.
Just when they think they've got things figured out, everything goes wrong.
