After a traumatic incident, a car accident, and the death of her mother, Evelyn's life will be changed forever by one choice her father makes to try and give her a better life. Now away from her hometown in Texas, Evelyn is faced with the challenges of moving into a new home with people she only met as a newborn. This is Evelyn's new life and welcome to it.
