How far would you go to be the favorite?

Mallory and Mackenzie are twins, with Mallory pulling ahead by two minutes. But that's the only thing so far that Mal has won over her younger sibling. With each victory and favoritism Mackenzie achieves in their mother's eyes, a little part of Mallory turns green with envy and jealousy.

Parents aren't supposed to have favorites, but all mothers and fathers have that one child they loved more. What happens when the child they shunned dies, and is replaced by someone else? After all, most murderers and sociopaths have had troubled childhoods....
