Dakota glares at me and all I can do is stare. Shaking my head I walk towards her. I take a deep breath,"It's not pity that keeps me here. I want to be around you, I want to help you. I want better for you." I mumble, my hands find their way to her cheeks. My thumb brushing over her swollen cheek. "I can take care of myself Harry." her eyes become glossy and I nod. No doubt in my mind that she can take care of herself. She was strong, independent. "I know that baby," I whisper,"I just want to be there while you do so."
