Everyone's an idiot.

At least, that's Kyoki's perspective. He believes that he is the only intelligent person among boring, senseless people. So he doesn't speak to people often. That changes when he's placed onto Team 7.

As the group grows closer, and more of his past is revealed, he realizes that maybe not everyone's an idiot after all.
