Yugi's body was infused with mystical energies while his sister received the power of the Millennium Bracelet, allowing her to know her twin brother's thoughts and where he is so that she may always find him. For destiny or Fate or the gods or some other divine force have chosen them, a mute boy and his interpreter twin sister, to protect the world against the return of the Shadow Games, just as the brave pharaoh twins did over 5,000 years ago.
