What happens when you fall in love with someone you can't understand- literally?

Evelyn moves to Montréal having barely passed high school Latin. She expects English class to be a breeze at her French-speaking university, until she is assigned Honoré as a partner. She can't even pronounce his name, and pigs will fly when he remembers the proper conjugation of 'to be'.
