Cassie is the perfect girl. She's rich, beautifull and popular... not to mencion a definite future model. What would happen when all ends in her birthday?
Cassie discovers she's not a normal vampire, at least, she doesn't think vampires can really dod the things she does. After spending on year at the cullens, they deside to leave her behind, therefore triggering the change that will make Cassie even less of a vampire.
