Lily Blondel's life is like a necklace which is suddenly cut by fate; one bead falls off causing destruction to her young heart. She endures the years of suffering, during the World War II in France, and blasts them out in a breathtaking melody through her clarinet. Lily dares to love and believe that she could possibly move on, without someone she desperately needs.
