My Guardian Angel [chapter one]

After Courtneys mom died, her dad continually beats and sometimes rapes her. It occured to her that all she wants is a guardian angel, someone to look after and help her from the hell her father's created for her. Right when she thinks she's going to die of emotional and physical pain, Spencer shows up. He's hot, in the bad boy way and he takes an unusual interest in her. She feels a weird connection toward him, and she wants to trust him but she just can't. He seems cool and trustworthy, but there's something off about him. Later, things start unraveling that maybe Spencer really isn't what he seems. Really, is Spencer even his name?
