What About The Truth

Dear Reader,
In this book you will read poetry by yours truly . I am an African-American girl, who just so happens to write poetry. If you love poetry just as much as I do then I hope you love this book. As a fair warning, some of these poems may be depressing, scary, weird, or even unbelievably true. However, I do not apologize for anything I say in these poems. Last time I checked, there are no rules in the world of poetry (unless you are writing in a specific form/ type) .
I'm glad you decided to choose this book. Poetry isn't the easiest thing accomplish in english nor, is it the hardest. Read to the end I do hope you like this book. Do enjoy reading this book as much as I loved writing it.
