Prologue

I've always been the other girl. I was the secret lover to a guy I thought actually had feelings for me that weren't just for getting me to bed.

My birth father left me for his new family. He was going to the store to get milk and never came back. I guess an eight year old obsessed with cutting people open like her mother wasn't a good thing.

I was the other girl that had killer makeup skills, but no one to squeal to or do makeup for others.

I was second rate.

But that is going to change.
