Prologue - Dear Diary

April always believed nothing could rescue her from her misery. She was tired of always being the target of all sad stories; she was tired of wishing upon every shooting star. She had given up waiting for miracles. She felt as if no matter what she did, her stricken past would always catch up, following her like a silhouette; like her very own shadow. She stayed locked up in her Aunt's house, lost. Like a ghost without any purpose except for working day and night like a servant.

Until a sincere boy jerked her out of her tragedy infested world, and dared to form a friendship with April.

Taught her to wish upon a shooting star, again.

Taught her how to live.
