Henry never wanted to be royalty. Sure, everything had perks, but living the life of dark magic and age old politics was not what he wished for. No, he wanted to help his people, to be a hero for the next generation. He wished to raise them up from their poverty and bring back peace. His father, of course, had other plans; plans that included Henry's death. Arissa was a self taught magic prodigy, who lived far from the kingdom in which Henry ruled as a prince. She had heard rumors of a terrible place far away, and ran from home in order to try and become a missionary for the poor. Unfortunately, the situation was far worse than she could have ever imagined. Upon meeting, the two form an inseparable bond. Indeed they were different, but they had one thing in common: they were done with the way things were.
