Parker Dawson is not one for parties or any social event. Maybe it's because her step-brothers hate her going anywhere that they go, or maybe it's just because she's anti-social. But when the Halloween dance comes around the corner, she finds a way to sneak out. She is about to go home when she meets Preston Paige, the school's captain of the football team.

He makes her night magical, and when she realizes she has to go home, she looses her ring and rushes home.
