Opal Estrada has dealt with terrible situations at home from the age of 8. Her older brother Nick has always been there for her, but when he graduates high school Nick decides to go off to college, leaving Opal behind. Devastated and lonely, Opal tries to battle her way through 4 more years of living with her horrible family.
