I strongly advice that you must be 12 and preferably older.) Rydel and her boyfriend are so happy together till their relationship takes a turn for the worse. Rydel's brothers, parents and the family friend Ellington, also known as Ratliff or e-Rat, try their best to to keep Rydel happy. After awhile Rydel realizes that she has moved on. However, it is wrong to like the person she is falling for. She talks to her friends about it. Most of them turn their backs leaving only two, Jasmine, and Joy, to stay and help Rydel; showing Rydel who her loyal friends really are.
