When a human dies, their soul goes to one of two places. Heaven or hell.

Heaven is reserved for the kind hearts, innocent, and good. Whereas Hell is made for the bad.

It's said that, depending on your fate, you will either remember your past friends and family... Or forget them.

And with angels given the primary task to watch over their mortal loved ones, the monsters in hell are left without memories, which are replaced with hatred for everyone.
