Melody takes her brother and all there stuff and runs away from home. She asked Stefan if they could live with him and to her surprise he said yes.

Later in the school year they become even closer and they actually have there first kiss!!!!

But just as things were heating up tradedy strikes when melody is in a horrible car crash.
