Description
After Kaan's father disappears without telling him or his mom anything, he begins to feel depressed and fearful that his father might have left because of lack of love for his family. However, a more rational part of his mind makes him wonder if something bigger that perhaps he knows nothing about, might be the cause for him leaving. After being gone for months, his mom decides to move to Istanbul so they can start all over again, and create a new life. Kaan feels that the move is very sudden, which causes him a lot of anxiety. He however tries to be strong for his ten month old baby brother, whom he wants to protect. He also sees his cousin Kemal Soydere, whom he has not seen in years since he was little. However, Kemal is now different, and when he realizes that Kaan is also related to Emir Kozcuoğlu - who also happens to be Kaan's father's half-brother - Kemal begins to mistreat him, believing Kaan is just like him. To Kaan's dismay, he is forced to move in with Kemal, who is very cold to him, and mistreats him often. Things also take a turn for the worst for him when his mom accepts to work for Emir's company, despite his dad's warnings about the kind of person Emir really is. Emir also begins to burrow into Kaan's life when he senses his distance, and also begins to harass him, realizing that Kaan is not stupid, and that he knows that he is not a good person. This promps him to see him as a threat, becoming a darkness in Kaan's life.
