Summary

This manga is a story about a young boy named Yuuta. He's actually the Shinigami's son, but he keeps that a secret, afraid that people will shun him. His father gives him missions to go out on, fighting villains and demons everyday. His weapon is a spear, and it can turn into a handy halberd for backup.

Yuuta goes to a special school called 'Double Star Academy' for fighters and warriors.

One day, a city is attacked by powerful demons called 'Crawds'. Yuuta is sent to defeat the demons and gains a fatal injury during the mission. His father sacrifices his life to save Yuuta.

Now, Yuuta is the new Shinigami. He carries around his guilt of his father's death. Yuuta plans to get rid of the burden, but how?
