Chapter 1

Lizzie is a pretty, redheaded kindergarten teacher. She is a joyful, open person, but has a quick and fiery temper whenever something rubs her the wrong way, and is sometimes irrationally stubborn. Lizzie's boyfriend of nearly a year, Connor Smith, is everything she could ask for, but there's a catch: Connor has never went anywhere with her in public - not even for one date. Eventually she forces him to go out publicly with her. Everything spirals out of control after a chance meeting with his best friend Nathan Bradley at the beach, and Lizzie has to cope with the mess that has become her life.
