'Khadija? What is she doing here? isn't it her engagement? Isn't she supposed to be on the stage? Silly girl!' I thought to myself. Just as I was about to head towards her someone called me and by the voice I could tell it was something important. Reluctantly, I turned around and headed towards the source of the voice, still confused. 'Ayaan? What is he doing here? I just saw him hurrying out of the function hall with red bloodshot eyes. It looked like he was crying. I didn't even get a chance to ask him what happened. But how did he return so fast, looking perfectly fine? Is he ok? Should I ask him what the matter is?' I thought and just when I was about to call him, someone called him and he turned around to go, leaving me with my confused thoughts. *********
