As the police took him away, she felt a sense of relief and calm take over. As if after years she could sleep, without any stress any disturbance. The turbulent time was over, now was the time for her freedom, her happiness.

Freedom? Was it so difficult to get, that it took her so many years. She didn't know, but she didn't care. This was her time and she would live.
