Cerise Dubois adored books. She loved reading more than anything else because the pages became her refuge when she felt the need to escape into a world of fantasy. She found that reading made it easier for her mind to be at ease, what with the dark times ahead and the reminders at every corner that Lord Voldemort was rising. But it became even harder to escape when she began to love one of the greatest reminders of the Dark Lord. Regrettably, Cerise found Regulus Black dashing and charming, and she hated herself for it; but she still couldn't control it. Though he had the Dark Mark inked upon his left forearm, though he came from one of the most ancient pure-blood families in history, though he was one of You-Know-Who's most loyal followers... Cerise felt an unexplained attraction to him. It only got worse when she discovered he had a heart of gold. He gave her the feeling of asphyxiation, because when she was with him she couldn't breathe.
