Chapter 1

On an archaeological dig in Egypt, Nathan finds the ancient cloak of Joseph, the dream interpreter who became the Grand Vizier for all of Egypt. Visions and perceptions immediately begin to assault Nathan-insights into the hearts of the people around him. And some of those hearts are filled with darkness, betrayal, and murder.

Is he a superhero now? Is he the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy about the Lamed Vovniks? Or is he just a young man who has to stop a murderer who has been corrupted by a cursed relic of ancient power?

The race is on. Nathan will have to master the cloak's gifts to keep thousands from dying and to stay ahead of the shadowy figures trying to put him in the ground-and before he loses the love of his life.
