Infected.
It all comes rushing back to me. The fires, the quakes, the unmistakable stench in the air. The earth, she’s sick. So sick. My earth, my people, my forests, they’re infected. All of those people, decomposing, right before your eyes. My parents. Everyone’s dying.
But not me.
I am the cure.
