Chapter 1

As I laid my eyes on him for the first time in a year, I couldn't help but wonder "what if?"
The question seems to never escape my mind. It's almost pathetic and I try not to dwell on it too much but its become a habit at this point. As I lay here wrapped up in his arms, a once so familiar feeling, I begin to redefine what bittersweet means. It feels so right and so wrong at the same time. Should I even care?
