[First book in the Quoted series] Amy Beckett is the typical geeky girl who sits at the back of the class and rarely speaks (except when she is answering the questions the teacher asks), however, she hides a very different person behind her books and many thick layers of shyness and clumsiness. There is only one person who knows the real Amy, and that is Riley, her BFF and only friend that can be so similar but at the same time the total opposite of herself. With a monotonous life completely dedicated to her dear book characters, studying and figure skating, Amy thinks that the probability of Zack Archer, her crush since *ever*, taking a bit of an interest in her is as probable as pigs sprouting wings and starting to fly. "Come on Amy, stop being so harsh on yourself!" says Riley for the thousandth time. I just ignore her and flip to the next page. "Nothing is impossible." Riley sighs, in the verge of giving up on convincing me. "You know, I never believed that, it is not true. The day you show me how to represent the square root of 2 as a rational fraction, I'll start to believe you. Until then..." Riley glares at me for a while, and then turns back to her own book. But what happens when Riley is proven right, with a little help from a sudden friend, when what Amy always believed in came out as an illusion? *This story is currently on hold until I sort put the plot and do some editing throughout the whole story.
